About Owner
I developed & engineered Classic Bougie Cute when I became aware of the struggles many cosmetologists face once they graduate and entered the cosmetology field.
Like many who possess a cosmetology degree, this profession is self-employed independence, the cosmetologist is 100% responsible for renting space, gaining clientele, maintain inventory and networking.
I've witnessed many cosmetologists who desired to work independently with little to no support, little networking, no clients, no prior experience & barely enough funding for studio space and still maintaining a 9-to-5 job.
I've witnessed high competition; I never compared my work, but it can become stressful to gain clients. Either, you had low-cost cosmetologist that most will go to; or very high expensive professionals that exhibit superior services that was over booked. So where does the new cosmetologist fit in? And where can we find work when business is slow?
Finally, I've witness risk factors of low funding; a cosmetologist will practice within their home to gain clientele. This action due to low funding for space will place a cosmetologist in a position to lose their license if it was to be reported.
This great disappointment had me thinking about the restrictions that was at hand. So, I began strategizing an application that may help professionals continue to thrive without having to make the difficult decision to leave their independency.

As an experience marketing assistant for Greenstreet's and ACN I was in college to become a CNA and thereafter of 7 years, I worked in hospice care for adults at Abundant Life Manor and added an associate of science, medical administration diploma.
In addition to my education, I moved into engineering. I worked for Milwaukee Public Schools as an Engineer lll for 10 years and then into Waukesha Memorial Hospital as a Power Plant Operator 1.
I am currently licensed as a HVAC, Asbestos, Pool Operation, Pesticide 7.1. High pressure boiler operator and stationery mechanic.
Within the year 2020 I became pregnant with my second child and enrolled in college for cosmetology to gain a manicurist diploma, small business diploma and LLC.
By 2020 I switched my profession dude to my age and wanted to find something I can retire with. I witness many people retire and returned to work; out of curiosity I was told life did not seem the same sitting around doing nothing. So, I gained my cosmetology license to keep myself sociable.
But I did not know how much work cosmetologist put it to stay in the loop. I believe this profession deserves more credit than people that are not working within the profession see them as. Let alone walking off without paying.
